Puppies!
Stewart X Jane
Puppies born August 8, 2006
Tainsh's Tartan Legacy To BonniDune
is a young dog who shows a lot of
promise. He placed in his class at the 2004 and 2005 BCSA National
Specialties. He has only been shown a few times, and has 11 points,
including two 3-point majors. I have been waiting for him to mature before
bringing him out to finish his championship.
"Stewart" has quite a legacy to live up to. His sire, Am/NZ/S. African Ch Clan-Abby Too-Much-Tartan, was the first Border Collie to win Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club. Johnny achieved that distinction in 1996. Johnny also won an Award of Merit at Westminster in 1997. Stewart's dam, Ch Korella Flirt O'Tainsh, was Winners Bitch at the 1998 Border Collie National Specialty. Gracie won Best Opposite Sex at Westminster Kennel Club in 2000. Her littermate, BISS Ch Korella Royal Command, was nationally ranked for several years.
Stewart's eyes are clear, but he does carry the CEA gene. He has OFA Excellent hips and is DNA clear for CL.
This litter is a line breeding on Am/NZ/S. African Ch Clan-Abby Too-Much-Tartan
. Johnny is Jane's Great-Grandsire and Stewart's sire.Jane's eye's are clear and she has OFA (preliminary) Good hips. She is genotype clear/normal for CEA and CL by parentage.
